Coming in at nine tracks, Booney and SmiffinWe$ connect on Still Dreamin, a project about the never ending journey of chasing one's dreams. Opening up with the title track, the duo sets the tone for what to expect on the full length compilation as they float over the production which is reminiscent of a West Coast vibe, ironic since the two recorded a bit in California. As the project continues, we find the two emcees going back and forth as they showcase their individual lyricism while blending together so effortlessly. An easy favorite is "Time Effects", which finds SmiffinWe$ on the production side as well, a role he plays on 5 out of the 9 records. If anything, both him and Booney prove that collab projects aren't a a lost art and it's alright to keep dreaming and chasing after them.
