The NorCal Icy Girl sat down with Hardknock TV and shares an old video of her rapping for J.Cole.

Saweetie is an upcoming rapper from California. She's made her mark in the music world with her hit single "Icy Girl," a clever remake to the infamous "My Neck, My Back." While you may know her for "Icy Girl," Saweetie is a college educated young woman with family ties to the music industry. Her cousin is none other than producer extraordinaire, Zaytoven. Can't you just smell the success?! Paired with his distinctive beats, Ziggy brings out the best in his cousin on one of my favorites; "Agua. "

In the interview, Saweetie describes the events leading up to her rapping for J.Cole outside of his tour bus. In an interesting twist of events, we find out the person who gave her the courage to rap for Cole was her ex-boyfriend; Keith Powers.

She becomes more and more interesting every time I watch an interview. Check out the clip below and let me know what you think of the bars she had for J. Cole.
