With his sophomore album '514' on the horizon, California recording artist, Lil Boii Kantu, releases his highly anticipated single, "Where Im From" featuring Atlantic Records' artist, Kap G. Sampling '60s hit "California Dreamin," producers WAV and Hazy Baby lay a bass heavy soundscape, as Lil Boii Kantu and Kap G reflect on life in their respective hometowns, trading melodic rhymes.
"When I first heard the record kap g had already laid down the hook on the song so that set the tone and really inspired me. My favorite line of the song is 'Ive dealt with destruction and pardoned my past, balanced the bullshit that came with the laughs.'
