Lil Uzi grabs the cover of Faders's Sex issue, hitting stores in March. The magazine caught up with the rapper in Hawaii to speak on rap, moving to Atlanta, and of course ..sex.
"Being a rapper is a facade," states Uzi in the Sex Issue of FADER. Coming on the scene in 2014, the rapper quickly risen to the top. He's assisted names like Future and Wiz Khalifa, recently signing to Taylor Gang. He talks to FADER about his job of four days and how he was homeless when he got his first face tat. "It was like, If I get this face tattoo, I got to focus,” he says. “I can’t go in nobody’s office with a suit on with this shit on my face. I got to focus on what I want to do.”
Lil Uzi also speaks on his public relationship with Brittany Byrd, who he's named in quite a few songs. "I’m a rapper, bro. It’s fucked up. Our relationship is fucked up,” he says. “But, you know, I love her for her and she loves me for me. So, you know. It’s always gon be good.”
