Broke2Dope is an indie hip hop blog based out of Atlanta, Ga created by Spelman graduate, Shanika Simmons, in 2013. As the name states, broke2dope is for those grinding and turning nothing into something. Our goal is to change the ideology behind being "broke" or "indie" and to celebrate those creating their own paths in the areas of music, fashion, and business.
