Here's the Three Songs We Can't Stop Playing off of @KCamp's 'Kiss 5' Deluxe

K Camp’s discography has been laced with hits since his debut in 2015 with tracks like “Money Baby”, “Comfortable”, and “Cut Her Off”. He continues this streak with the release of the deluxe version of Kiss 5, which added 6 new tracks to the original compilation including a feature from Seven Streeter. The Atlanta-based rapper continues to impress with his ability to slow it down with the authentic R&B vibes produced on K5D, paired with the high energy from the explosive viral single “Lottery”. This album concludes the Kiss series from K Camp and while we’ve been playing the entire thing on repeat, we broken down our favorite three tracks below:

“What’s on Your Mind” is a stand out track on the project, with a feature from the self proclaimed King of R&B, Jacquees. The two try to decipher what’s weighing on the mind of their love interest on the Nars- B produced track. When asked about working with “smaller” producers in a Zoom press conference, K Camp let us know that all of his producers “have credits” and he wouldn’t consider them small at all. Instead, he tends to tap in with his own label, Rare Sound, when it comes to the producers he wants to work with. This strategy worked with “What’s On Your Mind” landing the 22nd spot on Billboard and steadily climbing the charts.

“Tatted Up” is our new anthem and not simply because we’d like to think that we are tatted, but the Fabo assisted track takes us back to the skating rink and summer time. It’s no surprise that the two rappers would shout the visuals in a tattoo shop while being surrounded by beautiful women.

“Ari”, is another favorite of ours with K Camp referencing Ari the Don, mostly known as the ex-girlfriend to G Herbo. K Camp internalizes the social media star’s good energy on the track, where he  lets the girl who’s into him know that he’s seeking loyalty first, before he cops her a Lambo like Ari got from current rapper boyfriend MoneyBagYo.

According to K Camp, the Kiss 5 Deluxe finalizes the Kiss series and a possible emergence of “Lottery” inspired records may be on the way. Until then, we’ll vibe out to this one. Which tracks on Kiss 5 Deluxe are your faves?
